Get what I got: a Millermatic 350P and spoolgun. It was less than $4500 delivered. That was from an online dealer, quite a bit cheaper than Miller's suggested retail price. The pulse is nice for thin aluminum and out of position stainless. From thin aluminum to thick (400 amp max output) steel or aluminum, it's a nice welder. I suggest spending the extra money so that you'll have adequate power. Or do what I did: buy a $1500 welder and learn that it is underpowered, then buy a $2500 model and find you still need more power, and finally buy the highest-powered pulsed mig that will run on single-phase (also three-phase) power.

I have narrowed it down, Millermatic 350P or the Lincoln Power Mig 350MP. The lincoln looks to be the better deal...what do y'all think?
