Tire / Wheel Storage Ideas

Tire / Wheel Storage Ideas What do you use to store your wheels and tires besides throwing them in a corner? I am trying to get them up off the floor so I have more workbench space. Found this for $130:

I just had one made out of wood and it's integrated into my big-**** workbench at my house. I'm not sure if you've been to my house or not Kermit, but it's a solid setup. The only thing that i don't like about mine, or the one pictured above is that you can't sit soft tires(i.e. slicks) on them, as they tend to warp them if they sit too long...

I built a rolling tire cart that can hold 3 full sets of tires. I made it out of 1" square tubing and used 4" casters on it ... 2 stationary and 2 that swivel. I added a couple sections of sheet metal and stack my jack stands on the cart to get them out of the way and so I would always be able to find them.
I put my road racing slicks on it and se now warpage. Maybe the RR slick's heavier sidewall keeps that from happening?
If you keep the thinner sidewall slicks mounted, just ari them up to 30psi and they should stay in place.
If that doesn't work, then span the bottom rods with some masonite, put the tire on the masonite and bungee across the front to keep the tires from rolling off the rack.
If that doesn't work, maybe buy a cheap garden hose hanger and trim it to work.
