Fabricating -AN Hose
jegs/summit have it but if you dont know what you are doing you could get lost in a hurry and end up with a bunch of fitting and hose that dont work
Design your system in advance. Make notes, look at all the fitting styles, look at other cars, ask ?? ect ect.
I would rather buy 1 more expensive fitting than 2 that are cheaper in total.
Not trying to cause an issue. I have never had a line fray with a cut off wheel that was taped. Especially fiber tape.
I have had a few screw up with a chisel, but that was only bigger hose, -10 & -12.
In twenty plus years, 4 cars & many friends, I've done 2-3 fittings.

A local speed shop sells this stuff, I have some of it on my car...works good. Whats neat about this stuff, is on their 90*, 45* type stuff....sometimes when you make braided line the fitting is not "clocked" right. These fittings will swivel or rotate after they are made up.

Still like my cut off wheel & fiber tape. Never had a fray.

As noted above, using the swivel design fitting, like from Aeroquip, makes hose fitting a lot easier.
FWIW ... eBay has a lot of Aeroquip fitting being sold in lots. It's a cheap way to get what you need.
And no bloody fingers.
the way the blades close around it actually bends the tips of the braiding in a little bit
the tape is way ugly showing under the fitting.
I got the chisel, but couldn't find a block of aluminum and I didn't want to buy a grinder to sharpen the chisel yet.
