AFR Heads and Valvespring Tools?
AFR Heads and Valvespring Tools? After reading the forum, it seems rather clear that the crane valvespring tool is the way to go. Problem is, I hear conflicting reports on if it works with AFR 205 heads without modification. Can anyone give me an answer for certain?
The $115 for the tool isn't an issue, but I'd rather not pay that for a tool that will need to be ground down to fit properly when a $30 tool supposedly works. I've read that the "tim's tool" will fit AFR's, but I'd prefer the better tool *IF* I don't have to modify it.

I've never heard that...I just used this tool yesterday on my stock heads, and it was worth every penny. Since I want AFRs in the future, that would suck if I couldn't use this tool for valve spring swaps
