Default gear puller for t56

Any recommendations for the best gear puller for removing the speedo reluctor wheel and 5th gear, also any recommendations for an installer. Thanks.

I have the OTC tool, I think I paid around $100 for it.

T56rebuilds has one on their web site, don't know what it looks like, it's $130.

The reluctor wheel comes off with a regular 2-jaw puller, but for the 5-6 driven gear, you really need that puller. I've never used an "installer" for it, I just tap it on with something between the hammer and the gear.

I've gotten the 5-6 driven out without the puller, but had to resort to... uh... drastic measures. Life is easy once I got the real puller.

I've been using an OTC 1040 for years.
