Slow page load..

Slow page load.. In the last several weeks, on LS1tech my page loads have been horrible. But whats odd is it will load the top banner that includes a sponsor...hang for about 20sec or so then the rest of the page will load. This happens on every page in any forum. Is this a new hitch to get vendors more view? Anyone else seeing this?
