wont stay running on cold start

wont stay running on cold start my 99 trans am starts up but wont idle with out giving it some gas until its warmed up and some times i have to give it gas just to start almost like its carbed im thinking the TPS is bad any ideas? also it runs ok when its warmed up but if you kill the engine it starts all over again.
