I would recommend using that option, rather than changing it via your UserCP section. Changing it via the UserCP section will make the change permanent on your account. Changing it via the method outlined above, will be temporary (cookie-based).
The Mobile design is a simple style that one of the Moderators here on LS1tech created, since mobile devices have less CPU power, sometimes less bandwidth, and usually less features than a standard browser and desktop/notebooks.

So one would most likely want to login to LS1Tech with their mobile device, and use the lower left drop-down menu to select the LS1Tech mobile style for their mobile device. The cookie will be stored on the mobile device, and as long as the cookie is valid in your mobile device's browser, you will see the mobile style on your mobile device.
This way, if you happen to login from another computer, since you didn't change the style via the UserCp section, you will be shown whatever style you normally use when you browse LS1Tech from your desktop/notebook, etc.
I hope I explained it fairly decently.

If so, make sure that javascript is enabled. I'm not familiar with Blackberry devices, but that menu requires javascript be on and working. Otherwise, the menu does nothing.

Do you mean that when you try to select LS1Tech Mobile from the drop-down menu on the bottom left of the screen that nothing happens?
