Question for admin guru's I'm an admin for our local drag club's forum and recently we've had one member sign up under a false name and raise all sorts of hell on our forum.
The president of the club has asked if there was a way to reveal the identity of this person so they can be privately delt with, but I have no idea how...
I have his IP adress and a hotmail email that he/she uses, but other than that, nothing else..
Any ideas?
P.S. I tried using a virtual trace type of app, but I had no luck.
I can pm the IP adress if that'll help.

I would normally just put the user on a 'time out' but they've already been given a week off and soon as that was done, they were back at it.
I could IP ban them, but they've managed to rally a few other members to support them so banning 5+ people would look bad on my part.
So I thought I'd ask for advice from some more tech savey folks

Camaroholic gave me a website to try which narrowed it down to a small town about 20 minutes from here and one other guy I talked to already said he'd stake money on one of our members who lives there and is well know for stirring the pot, heated shouting matches and sufferes from a rare form of douchebaggery...
Hopefully this can get delt with quietly and we can get onto the racing come May with out the drama.
