I am a member, sponsor and mod of MANY other boards. Most of them are Vbulletin. They are the same as always and so are their ads. Firefox is not limiting any of them, nor do they need any special treatment to work right.

This is advertising though, and if new users are not being exposed to the advertising that sponsors are paying for, then they stop paying for the site.

It needs to get fixed. It is unreasonable to expect new users to have to figure out how to ADD advertising, or that they even would if it were gone from day 1.

I see all the banners on the side

If the people not seeing it are using adblock plus in Firefox, put these in your exceptions:
Code:
@@|http://m1.2mdn.net/1665516/*
That makes all the tiles work for me

I could always see them and still can.

HOWEVER, what's the point of NOT having an alphabetical sponsor list somewhere instead of this random ever changing list on the side of the screen? I just got "reprimanded" for asking about a non-sponsor. I am not searching the freaking list on the right everytime someone posts about a random shop that may or may not be a sponsor. If I was a paying sponsor I would be HIGHLY PISSED OFF! How the hell is anyone supposed to find out about you if they haven't memorized the whole sponsor list (that is in random order all the time as well)? Not every sponsor posts in the sale section, etc. either (I got that BS from IB). W.T.F!!!!! The only reason the majority of people use this site is because of technical info, which would be great if the SEARCH WORKED, but I digress on that point. The second reason is the majority of sponsors are good to deal with.

IB,

HOW CAN I DEAL WITH A SPONSOR IF I DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE!? Adjust the sponsor list on the right of the screen to
a) Actually show up all the time.
b) Stay in alphabetical order, or
c) Provide a link to such a list.

How hard is this concept to understand, this is YOUR business after all. Thanks,

Larry

I am with VIPRETR2, the link to the complete list of sponsors arranged alphabetically was a great tool and should never have been removed.

When I have to leave this site to do a Google search for BMR's site, it frustrates me.

When I have to leave this site to do a Google search for "spring installation site:ls1tech.com", it makes me wonder why I'm still here.
