cant post pic's from fquick

Evey time I try to add a pic to a thread this bad joke keeps poping up

What am I doing wrong??

It doesn't appear you are hotlinking correctly with FQuick.com

What is hot linking? I pull up the pic on fquick and copy and paste it in to the the insert image icon and american idol with his X shows up. How did you see the pic? Thanks man.

Hotlinking is when an image is being linked to from outside who actually is hosting the content. In this example, your images are being hosted by FQuick but you're hotlinking them so that they display here on LS1Tech.

When you are viewing your FQuick account and you're viewing a particular picture that you want to display here on LS1Tech, simply copy and paste the string that you find under "Embed this Photo:"

The above is known as HTML. Since we cannot post actual HTML in a message on this website (for security reasons it's disabled from parsing), you need to rewrite the above to look like this:

See what I did? I chopped some of the original string and surrounded it by the IMG tag.

I suspect you're getting the results you're getting because you're trying to hotlink a "high resolution" version and FQuick is probably having a lot of bandwidth bills.
