I have been reading articles up here since spring of 2008.

For Sale Forums - Posting Problems

Every registered user on LS1tech is now required to have a minimum of 50 posts, or a minimum of 6 months membership duration before they can gain the privilege of posting a NEW THREAD the Classifieds section, or post a FOR SALE ad in any section of the site.

Unfortunately, we've had to put this restriction on our site due to so many lurking scammers popping up and taking honest money. This restriction has helped to ring out a lot of the scammers looking to make a quick buck on our site. Posting for sale items in other forums to circumvent this rule is prohibited and the posts will be deleted.

After your 50th post, it takes a period of 24 hours to update your access to the classifieds forums. DO NOT make a post requesting instant access upon making your 50th post, the system is automated. The database updates certain records on a daily basis, it is not instantaneous. Any threads regarding this will be locked/ignored.

Please do not contact us asking to circumvent this 50 post rule. The system is automated and we do not make exceptions. We feel that the classifieds forums here are a privilege to contributing members, not a free service for new members.

You have to have 50 posts OR 6 months membership to post in the classifieds (that includes WTB)

Yeah and well that answer sure make far more sense than throwing a huge list of crap in my face where it only says FOR SALE FORUM...esp when I was not selling anything...really, if not selling would not look under FOR SALE FORUM...you should add WNATED to that to make it clear to look there....would be HELPFUL....

K..well then will have to use my old ID MEB and post a WANT AD...since it is far far far older than 6 months old....

If you want a part, keep looking and send a pm to the seller. Scams work both ways so not letting new members post a Wanted thread also helps cut down on potential scams. I do understand about you needing a certain part though and if everybody was honest, there wouldn't be a rule in place. Good luck in your search.

Technically you are only allowed one user name per person, so the mods/admin should ban one or the other. Just throwing that out there while you are throwing a fit about the rules.
