just looking for some help on how or what i need to do to put one of my personal pics as an avatar. whenever i try to do it on any forum it says my pic is to big. i know i have to make it smaller but i just have no clue on what to do. i dont want to resize the picture i have on my comp.

Open the picture with Paint (Avance Paint is what I use) Resize it then click "File"- "Save As" then rename so its a copy.

just go to tinypic.com and under the size section hit avatar. it worked for me.

Upload to photobucket (or wherever) and select to resize to tiny. Mine is something like 100x75.
