Mount for my Starter broke off the engine block. My Starter went out and I took it to the shop to get fixed and they showed me the thread piece where the bolt goes to hold the starter in place had broke off. I was told that I have to get a new engine block. Is that true or is there a cover or something that goes on the engine block for that piece? Also can you weld that piece back even if its aluminum or something like that?
