Gauging interest thread for a potential sponsor product?
Gauging interest thread for a potential sponsor product? Would I be able to post a "gauging interest" thread for a product that a sponsor might consider producing if there's enough positive feedback? I don't work for the sponsor, but I suggested the product to them. Would this be considered non-sponsor advertising, or is it acceptable? I wouldn't be selling the product myself, only collecting information to relay back to the sponsor.

The OP in that thread, as far as I can tell, does not work for the sponsor. They just want something made by the sponsor, and are getting feedback from other members to show the sponsor how much interest there is. I would be doing the exact same thing.

I'm sorry I read this wrong. Yes you can do that just fine. I thought you were asking if non-sponsor product pimping / gauging interest. I was up too late last night.
Asking a sponsor and gauging interest to make/build/carry product is no problem at all. They look for feedback from the members. Soo post away.

I'm sorry I read this wrong. Yes you can do that just fine. I thought you were asking if non-sponsor product pimping / gauging interest. I was up too late last night.
