I just tested your account, you can send PM's.

To post/reply to sales add's you are not allowed to yet. Look at the link Sharpe posted, and read the sticky threads next time please.

thank's, glad it was a local sale were contact info wasn't an issue to get through friends. never saw this rule before.

edit to add: I understand keeping spammers and people who join just to sell, but what about guys like me who shop for the best deal, weather new or used. Currently I need a drive shaft to match my Moser 9", and it'll take me a year or so longer to get up to 50 posts, unless I just post ***** a bunch of BS

Make sure to read the link that Sharpe provided. "Post *****" is covered in the link that Sharpe posted and the staff will take action if that is what an account does as it's attempting to circumvent the rule that not only protects buyer and seller, but ensures quality discussion in the community.

It's not just 50 posts, it's 50 posts or 6 months from join date.

Did I say I was going to post ***** a bunch of bull ****? No I didn't.

I started an account with LS1,com Join Date 07-31-2000 Total Posts 491 - I'll be deployed again in a few months I don't have time to wait or to spend on the computer.

I just want to get this car put together and run 11's before I deploy again.

So the $9,000 worth of parts I've bought for my car should justify why... I would like to contact a seller or post a reply to a F/S post. Other message forums have similar rules, but you can at least reply to a F/S post, that's why I though my account was messed up.

So when I've paid TEA $1100, TSP $1100, EPP $2600, just to mention the over $1k purchases not to mention the pile of UMI, Spohn, katech, slp, ect. I think I have a legitimate gripe, about wanting to PM seller, or a Sponsor from a F/S section.

I was merely giving you a heads up, since you posted:

While the above may not have said you were going to do so, the fact you mentioned it is why I believe it was smart to give you a heads up for your own good.

The reason why the rules apply to both Seller and Buyer, is because a Buyer can certainly scam a Seller just as easily as a Seller can scam a Buyer. Buyers have a feature called "charge back" that can take seller's money and product.

I don't write or enforce the rules here, I merely try to assist.

Good luck!
