Default No sig pic?

I've been messing with this thing for about 2 hours now, I used to have a sig pic and suddenly it stopped showing up. I decided to change it, and I still can't see any pic. I thought maybe I had too many lines of text, so I deleted it all, and it still doesn't show up. I made sure the size limits are all followed. No matter what I do, the closest I can get it if I img /img it it will show up as a hyperlink, not an image. If I upload it from my PC, it shows in the "use this picture" box but still doesn't show up when I preview the signature. What am I missing here?

Some time ago, LS1Tech Staff made a change to the signature options. You can no longer display a signature picture that is remotely hosted outside of LS1Tech. If you attempt to do so, it will appear as a hyperlink instead.

You can still show signatures pictures, as long as they are hosted on LS1Tech server. Once you upload the signature picture to LS1Tech's server, via the Edit Signature page in the UserCP section, you will need to make sure to click on the link to insert the SIGPIC tag inside your signature.

I tried that. I selected it, clicked upload. It shows up in the box, but when I click "insert sigpic" it says it cannot display 2 at one time, even though nothing shows up.

This is the error:

You have included 2 images in your message. You are limited to using 1 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

Images include use of smilies, the BB code [img] tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator
Even though no image at all is displayed. All I have is one line of text.
