Problem with seller-etiquette?
I politely pm'd the guy and let him know the problem, which he claimed was from my son running a screw into the changer which was false.
I took it to a shop as I said I would (seller said that would be fair) and they could not tell where the loose pieces would need to go, nor the price to fix it.
I notified seller and shipped unit back to him, and he now tells me that if it arrived with loose parts I should have taken it up with the shipper, not him and he has refused the pkg and is done with the deal.
WTH? If I get parts from summit or crutchfield with loose parts I send them back to them, not the shipper. What are my options here? I notified paypal, which he then claimed my son damaged the unit and it was fine when he shipped it. It could have been, but it arrived to me with loose parts. SO???
How would I go about including info from the transaction, post and his replies on the bad seller part of the classifieds?
