They shouldn't be. The only "pop-up" that may occur is the mouseover events. Those expand when you mouseover them. If you're getting a true pop-up ad that opens a window on its own, then either it's a rogue ad that we need to address (we'll need the information requested above as well as a click-through link) or there is possibly an infection on your computer.

Im getting some BS OpinionMart survey thing. Been getting it off and on for about 2 months. Pops up when I click on something on the site but its not repeatable. This is the only site that does it.

By "screen capture" Jeremy means either take a pic, or use the microsoft Snip-It tool

Getting those expanding ads here too. Can't remember which ads but the WalMart ad is the worst. Granted those BIG ads should pay more to keep tech running. But they should only expand when the mouse crosses over it, not while reading threads or posting from the bottom of a thread.

Not sure if this is causing tech to load slow on my computer but this is the ONLY forum that takes a few seconds PER SCREEN. So I'm just spending less time (and $$$) here now.

That should be the mouseover type. If not, please provide a screen capture as well as a click-through link. That information is needed to investigate and locate the specific ad in the pool.

Thanks

Win7 has the snipping tool but if you run XP then you don't have it. In this case...

Hit the Print Screen (Prt Scrn) key on your keyboard.
Go into MS Paint.
Hit edit > Paste
Boom, you have a screenshot of your whole screen. If you want to cut out sections for privacy reasons (we really don't care to see what midget **** sites you also have open ) please do so.
Save the pic and upload here.

Sounds like an issue on your end, I have never been redirected to another site by clicking on a page unless its a sponsor link or just a link in general to another site.

Having issues on my tablet. There is a bullshit T-Mobile ad and a snickers ad that literally takes over my browser. I cant scroll down until I exit out of the ad and sometimes I have to click on the x in the ad for 10 plus seconds. This is ridiculous.
