You can only manually select the Mobile theme if you're using a mobile device (or one that is supported) otherwise you'll get that endless loop.

Try clicking on this link to fix that:

Did none of you read my post above?

Stop posting without reading. I posted how to go back to the old version.

At the top choose the option to take you to the normal website.

Then scroll all the way to the bottom and where you can choose the website layout there are 2 mobile options:

---LS1Tech Mobile

and right under that:

Mobile Theme

Choosing the second one will switch to the old setup.

No. Mobile theme is not there on my browser.

Just "ls1tech mobile" which I just got the new version thrown in my face a few hours ago...

Agreed. Old mobile was nicer and more user friendly. No pics, taken to end of thread, and why can I not close the Search box on this version, in the classifieds section?? I click close and it just takes to home page. Please change it back. It was nice before when users had the option to choose this or the old mobile version.

I'm a bit confused. Every post in this thread states that the old mobile version was better. A member points out how to go back and then its deleted?.

So much for listening to feedback.

Ok Jeremy, if we are forced to deal with crap version of a format, can some attention please be given to the classifieds. As mentioned before, the marketplace search box will not close. Also can you move the page numbers to the Bottom of the screen?? Or maybe I'm the only person that reads Top to Bottom and Beginning to End, not vice versa.

Of course to save you some time and work, you could just make the other mobile version accessible again, since it worked just fine. But that probably makes too much sense.....

I like the get new functionality of both the full version, and the mobile.
My only complaint is the 'assume everything is read when you become inactive'

The forum moves so fast, and I am always busy at work or family that I only get a few minutes to jump in and read a couple threads.
Every time I come back its hard to tell where I was because everything is marked as read.

That's my only complaint.

If you guys start using the getnew functionality you'll like it.

When I'm in the Parts Classified and try to hide the market place search, it kicks me completely out back to the forum list.

I haven't made any changes and I'm not aware of any. I just checked and the (new) mobile theme still loads for me. If you provide more details, we may be able to troubleshoot your device.

That will occur if you're not using a mobile device while trying to access the mobile theme. If you're using a mobile device with some agent switcher or other to spoof what you're using, you may say that issue as well.

While I'm not behind (as in I didn't develop) the mobile theme to have any stake in it, I have been trying to help with the feedback to see what can be done to address some of the concerns.

We'll look into the Search widget not closing in the Classifieds.

Thanks
