ls1tech no longer fast...

ls1tech no longer fast... my laptop is 2 years old, ls1 tech loads slow on it. god forbid i make the mistake of clicking on anything ls1tech.com related on my 5 year old work computer, it will lock the computer up for 15-20 seconds then catch up and scroll down the page and back up and down all fast like.
is there a way i can browse in mobile theme using my laptop?

Is this still the case starting from this afternoon and onwards? Please make sure to clear your cache and see how it is. An issue was identified and resolved this afternoon, but it's possible there are still some issues. If that's the case, we'll need more information. Again, please look to see if there's a specific ad that may be tied with the performance issue. It may be an animated (flash) ad. What you describe is high CPU load on your machine.

im certain its the high load on my machine. its a 3 year old laptop. it struggles to play certain flash based games. i can say this, whatever setup loads the gallery preview stuff at the top of the main forum page before log in absolutely KILLS my machine for 2-3 seconds here, and if i load it at work, whew, better go get some coffee because it will be a good 30 seconds of waiting. and im pretty sure thats where the issue lies, i can literally watch as the gallery preview pics are the thing that causes the lag, because when THAT is done, the rest of the ads and images load on the page load(per my bar at the bottom left of the firefox / nightly browser). that being said i tested this theory at work, where i typically browse without logging in, and found that while it was a significant cause of the "lock up for 15 seconds", it still lagged shortly thereafter on something else, further down the page.

ridiculously slow and is no longer enjoyable to surf for at all its so slow. I have no issues with other forums.

I have to wait a long time to log in. If I click the username bar and type the name, its a good 10-15 seconds per load and never types it correctly. Almost seems like it loads the page 3 times.

I'm on a ton of forums, and have several computers, with varying internet speeds. This forum has been consistently slower then the rest of the internet. It was not always like this, it has only been in maybe the last 6 months/year time frame. I have come to the conclusion it is not the several computers, several routes of the internet available, and not some cache that needs to be cleared.
