Site crashing
The first issue sounds like a browser issue if the browser is closing on it's own.
Second issue sounds like a network/server issue if you couldn't reach the site for a few minutes. That would not result in the member's browser closing as described in the first issue.
I believe there is some current connectivity issues and it will be investigated.
Thanks.

You mentioned the issue appears mostly with YouTube videos. There is a product being used that embeds YouTube videos so that members can easily post a YouTube link and the product converts it by embedding it inside the post. This means the viewer simply has to click play and they can watch the video within the post. It's possible that some devices, especially mobile devices, can't handle this due to limited resources.

Seems OK at the moment but I haven't been on much.
You might as well just announce that you do not support all browsers and platforms and give a recommendation on what browser/version works best to access the site.
From what I can tell, most of the issues surrounding the forums on any device/platform/browser/application/version is caused by the gross overuse of dynamic 3rd party advertisements, but that is just one persons opinion.

Aside from when the issue started, what are some direct examples?
Windows 7 Business Edition, Firefox. We don't run anything but work office programs on this computer. Our computers are virus free and all patches, latest version, etc are up to date. Please see attached. I can understand IB wanting to maximize revenue with ads all over the place but it seems it's getting way too many ads. Anways, not sure if the screen capture here is ad related. It only happens when you initially go to the front page to log in. The site will just hang because it is trying to run this script and can't and so we'll have to wait for the error message to appear.
Thanks and if you need anymore information, email me direct please.
