Default Patriot Performance thread.

Seems like the Mods and sponsors were doing some bullying in there. What gives? Even if it's old news, if people are still posting then the thread should be allowed to die of its own valition if you ask me.

but its the same old people posting the same stuff 1/2 of which was in a sticky for one time or another...what do you want the mods to do send out a mass mailer about a paying sponsor saying not to buy their products? Patriot has sold hundreds of sets of heads to date & now with the support of summit racing will be selling hundreds more...IMO they are decent heads w/ great support from terry it leads be to believe they are one of the better sponsors/vendors on this board. In todds case it was made a sticky for a while & remains as a sticky on at least one other major ls1 board even though the issue was resolved long ago & todd has moved on to a new car completely. As far as the dude breaking the rockers this was, at least on this board, a known problem and anyone that had the issue was taken care of by terry with the new springs...even in that case terry sent out the new springs to the customer...it was the customer that didnt install them all, I will say It wouldve been nice if terry contacted each and every one of those customers to tell them their may be an issue, but from what I understood through the testing they had done they initially had no clearance issues with their test vehicle so started sending out shipments then a couple of months later people were breaking springs & thats when the patriot gold springs hit the market. When there was the teflon seal issue Terry took my heads back free of charge and put in the new seals...these were on his $995 heads so to spend $ to take them back, install new seals & send them back out to me free of charge was pretty damn nice considering he probably doenst make that much on those heads as it is. Bottom line is these threads have died on their own then get brought back to life in some cases by posts praising patriot heads then the same old people just trying to start the same old **** arrive & it just gets retarded after a while yes this forum is technical by nature but 100% of the patriot threads just start a flame war & the board starts to look like ls1.com for an instant and im not here for that IM here to learn about the newest products, the best products, what works, whos selling them, and why they work not to hear about personal vendettas.

Rant off,
Bill
