Banner Announcement..

I think the banner flashing ls1tech announcement is a really good way to get newbies to read things. I can tell people still don't read the stickies, even though they are different colors and what not. However, I'm wondering what else you could put up in the banner. Like everytime someone logged in, it would be there. Just trying to give some ideas. I know you've probably already thought about it if it's any reasonable idea.

they should make one on the home page that says Newbies Enter, and it shows all the stickes in one forum.

you must read stickies before being able to post. That would be amazing. That could be in the bold print when you register the account.

i have been on some forums, and there is a FAQ at the top that says to read before posting. also, some forums don't allow newbs in certain sections
