ok first off i realize this will be very hard and take alot of time to do, but just thought i'd toss the idea out there for you guys. here it is :if you've ever been to say...tirebarn.com or something ( think thats the site ) they have where you can pick your color of car etc. and put diff rims on there, well that looks kinda cheap, and i think it'd be sweet if we could do the same thing to an extent. take a pewter, nbm, etc. camaro / trans am side picture and list all kinds of wheels, photo shop each wheel onto the diff colors of cars, and drops all photoshopped to look real just make it to when someone clicks say, TT2's, it puts them on that car, then if they want a 1.5" drop click that it goes on etc., different colors of calipers, you guys get the idea, i realize this probably is way too much work and won't happen, but it would solve alot of the " what would this look like " etc. threads. thanks for looking.
A simpler idea would be just to have a site organized gallery of photos of different style rims/tires/paint schemes/appearance mods/etc. that was catagorized and searchable.
you think that would suffice? well its already been discussed - but until the site performance is brought back up to par we're not adding anything that may slow it down. hope that answers your question.

Agreed, that would definitely be a nice addition to the site. It would probably be easier just to have searchable pics of the type of car, color, wheel/tire type and size and any issues associated with that type of wheel/tire and then maybe a generalized feedback section discussing lowered cars, fender rolling, caliper grinding that sort of thing.

figured something like this would come up, i know prostock john is currently putting together a wheel / tire page i believe, but my idea was to take that a little further and make it so it looked like YOUR car, ie. same color, calipers, tint, etc. and then be able to put on all of the appearance mods you would like, but have them photoshopped on so it looked real. cool man, thanks, it's been 2 yrs. since i've taken my A+ and all my other computer graphics classes and various other computer classes, so this is a little beyond me i forget all that as i just kind of stop pursuing that stuff. not sure i would have been able to then either.
