New Posts (search) weirdness?

New Posts (search) weirdness? I know Brains has been working on the search lately... Believe it began yesterday, usually I hit the "New Posts" link and get all the posts I have not read so far in bold, but now the new posts are appearing as regular typeface. One thing that just came to mind is if the New Posts system is based on last time logged in versus time of 'new' post, meaning if it was worked on lately that my +7 hours might be affecting it.
Didnt see this issue on the page either and havent had it before. Just letting you guys know.

I have also noticed something similarly wierd. When I do a search I see threads that have far more posts than the search says and nothing is new. It's probably related.
Indeed, that is one of the portions of search I'm still working on. Its a little tricky to "hand off" the new search results query to the MAIN server, while directing everything else to the new dedicated SEARCH server which has a lagged copy of the database.
i just noticed as well. i thought there were more than just 87 posts since i came on yesterday, and was wondering why i was seeing posts from 2005 and 1 and 2 months ago show up on the most recent posts.
