Yep, title says "Site has been suspended", and page body says "Account for domain ls1.com has been suspended".

Looks like that is a standard page that their host uses - there's a bunch of other sites that have/had that page put on them, and the ones that still have it seem to all have the same host in the whois info ( www.ixwebhosting.com ).

It has come and gone many times over the past several years. It keeps getting suspended / shut down because the owner sucks about not paying the bills. It should eventually be back, whenever he gets around to paying up.

seeing as i'm a moderator over there, i'll offer some insight as to why it's been suspended. one, they are switching ISP. two, in the AAG section, you get some people that post semi-nude pics. well, that's a no no according to the ISP. then, you have some people reporting these posts as **** pics. so, the ISP suspends the account because of the reporting.

Hmmm.. that's a good excuse, and actually believable I suppose IXwebhosting does not tolerate "adult" material on their servers.

Good lord...this is at least the third thread about it. Why not just email admin@ls1.com and ask firsthand what the problem is?

Because the domain is down

Brings up a good question though, I wonder if they're still processing email for them?

you know, beleive it or not, some of us actully like LS1.com. i know some people on here dont idk why there obviously isint much competition. But these questions could have been answered in previous threads that were locked by a mod telling us to email them. so now more threads arise. wouldnt it have made more sense to leave one thread open insted of 2 or 3? Well, the other one I've seen had been posted in a very wrong place, and ended up being filled with a bunch of immature junk, so one of the moderators removed it instead of trying to get it back on track and figure out where it should be.

Now that there is one in a decent place and with decent replies, it does make it easier to get answers

Their Domain Name Server addess has changed. When you enter a website into you browser say www.ls1tech.com it sends a request to a DNS and gives back the web address of the site 67.15.111.195.

If you know the website address 67.15.111.195 for www.ls1tech.com you can key it into the broswer instead of keying www.ls1tech.com and you will get ls1tech.com to come up.... assumeing the DNS address hasn't changed, if it has when you key the number the site won't come up and if the site has changed to a new addess and hasn't been updated on the DNS sever, the site won't come up when you key in the www address.

Think of the www.ls1tech.com as it's address. The 67.15.111.195 as their "web phone number" and the DNS as the phone book.
