Hello, im v-8, according to the indicator on the top right hand side i have 65,535 messages, when i click on "private messages" i have no new messages... What the ****?

I posted up before taking a look about the private messages and missed the sticky . Maybe everyone should get a pm of the most common widspread site problems when they come out just to give the members a heads up .
I doubt the first place people look on this site is in this category unless they got a problem already .

I think its time we recode the "New Thread" button to force people through every single sticky, with a test at the end, before you can actually create a new thread

The point is, you didn't make the effort to find the answer on your own either. You're not the only one though, several others have failed to read the stickies. They're obviously posted for folks so they wouldn't have to ask these types of questions. If you have any suggestions on how to help folks help themselves for simple things like that, I'm all ears.

I now DSLReports I think is the site that gives you a page of links and ask if you still want to create a new thread lmao. That would be nice in this section, but they are custom software.
