That must be it. It's intermittent.

Brains, I was probably using a mouse when you were still poopin' in your pants.

Considering mice weren't attached to mainstream PC's until the late 80's, I'd wager you're off by a few years I'm not exactly a spring chicken any more myself

Oh...that's a great way to get support from our systems admin.

I guess your statement would mean something if computing was around
for hundreds of years or something.

I had one of the first Macs with a mouse in '84. I can do the cipherin' in my head and figure out that was 22 years ago. Still got my slide rule, too.

I had my first computer in 1982, a model 5150 IBM PC with no hard drive, single 360k floppy, CGA 8 color graphics, 64k memory (which I upgraded with DIPs to 128k), etc. I didn't have any software for it, so everything I did I wrote in BASIC Even got accused of cheating on a report once, because it included graphics and everything. This is before Word Perfect even existed, Lotus 123 was the hot spreadsheet nobody understood, and Wordstar was the mainstay of word processing. This report (on asteroids) was all hand-coded in basic as well, including the rudimentary graphics. After they accused me of cheating and called my mother, she offered to have me code another report in front of their eyes in return for a very public apology. They declined and dropped the issue. I was eventually expelled from this supposed school for the gifted for various reasons

lol...my first puter was a TI, I don't remember the model #. No monitor, no hard drive, no floppies, no software...just plugged into a 17" black and white TV and a tape controler that I patched to an old Teac reel to reel.

Firts one was TRS-80 model 1 (in 1977), eventually with level 1 and level 2 basic (dad built an eprom burner and etched a board for it, added a switch and you could then run either version of basic) with a home built 32k memory module. It was a smoking machine. We had a Kaypro 4, some Timex-Sinclair T1000's, and all manor of other stuff over the years.

Is this what everyone is talking about. I've noticed the last week or so that when I hit my back button about 25% of the time I get this:

I would get that, and sometimes only about half of the forums would show up.

Yep, sometimes it's like that or sometimes part of the main page shows up but, not all of it. Gonna try clearing some stuff out tonight and see if that helps, will let you know what happens.
