Server sometimes extremely slow?

Since this is gonna get locked anyways, just bare with the site for now. So it takes longer. So what? Not everything runs perfect all the time. Give it time and it will get fixed. Nothing and I mean NOTHING runs right 100% of the time. Everything has a breakdown now and then. Also, read the other threads in this forum, specifically the ones with the little padlocks on them.

I've been asked to scale it down a little - I've been a bit of an ******* lately, admittedly.
There are a few things going on with the site, and there will be a master sticky in this section soon that will help to explain a ton of things - that is among them.
Bottom line is, we're working on it.

bleh sorry about this thread, i never looked into this section until the thread got moved and realized that theres 100 other threads about it too. since its under construction i really dont care if it runs slow or w/e, i figured it was a user problem :S

I suppose that I would rate the site as close to useless now.
Besides the search function it is moving at the speed of molasses in January at the North Pole.
Someone has a nice business here and has done a wonderful job putting it together.
But I am old enough to remember when US Steel, Kaiser Aluminum, and American Motors were great businesses also. Hopefully someone is doing more than thinking about the fix.

Unfortunately it is not so much slow as totally useless as a site now.
Posts must be entered again and again over hours to get them to upload.
LS1Tech is a great site. I hope someone isn't fiddlin while Rome burns.
