New posts and replies in Firefox

Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else had any problems creating new posts or doing quoted replies with Firefox?

For example, when I went to create this post in Firefox (2.0.0.3), I get the screen attached. I can't type in the text fields at all. It works fine in IE, but I hate IE...

Any suggestions?

It looks like it only affects the WYSIWIG / Advanced editor option. I'm investigating now

I only use FF, IE is dead to me.. But then again I most often use the quick reply box so I didn't immediately notice this little issue

Yeah, I usually do too, but it affects PM's as well. That's where I noticed it initially, if that helps.

Im having this same problem. In fact I tried right now and had to use the quick reply becuase it wouldnt work.

Any update on this? I know everyone is sick of my opinions on suspension, tires, and appearance, but there are better ways of making me not post...

I have the same problem when quoting some replys, it's hit or miss, but most of the time it works.

I usually just close the window, find the thread again, and try quoting it again.

For a while after I upgraded, the entire browser would lock up, I'd have to close all the FF windows, and start over.
If I'm on PT.net, the smilies are off the page most of the time when I reply.

Yeah it has something to do with how they enable/disable the window. It works 99.9% on mine, pretty rare that it doesn't. Try refreshing the page and see if that helps.

why the preference for Firefox? i know it has tabbed browsing but so does the new IE. what am i missing here?

IE blows chunks. Its restrictive, over-protective, and treats me like a child. It also infects my computer every time I browse ****.

Firefox for life.....
