Default Anyone else like the old setup of ls1/ls6 internal/external engine grouped together?

I just saw the new setup and I think I liked it more when the ls1/ls6 internal engine was right above ls1/ls6 external engine. Now they are mixed with the ls2/ls7 sections. Does anyone else like the old setup better like i do?

We did that because too many morons were posting their LS1 bolt-on questions in the LS7 bolt-on forum. It seems too many people do not understand the difference in engines. So, we put the LS1 forums higher on the list to curb the laziness of looking for the proper forum.

I hadn't noticed until I read this thread. I think it will just take some getting use to, like anything. (Kind of like having to click twice to get to the "Parts For Sale" section). You just need to train yourself to know what you're looking at.

One thing i've often wondered is why LS2's aren't included in the LS1/LS6 forums. I understand they're considered a "generation 4", but they seem to be more compatible with the internal components of the LS1 or LS6 compared to the L92 or LS7. I know it would be too late to make a change like this now anyways.

Just a thought...

You answered your own question, the LS2 is a Gen IV engine. Has nothing to do with compatibility with the LS1. You can sleeve an LS1 to fit LS7 and L92 stuff too, all the parts are generally interchangeable.

It'll take some getting use to but no big deal.

Now that's just sad. You shouldn't have to do that but if it helps then I'm glad you did.

I was just thinking about it. Are people really that stupid that they can't post in the correct forum? I never understood how people couldn't read stickies, couldn't search, and can't put two and two together.
If I'm missing something please correct me but is it this bad on all the major forums or is LS1Tech special?
