Plasma not working

Plasma not working I have been using the Plasma Expanded viewing style since day one on 'Tech. Recently there were a bunch of changes made to the format of the site, including adding links to the other forums owned by 'Tech to the top of the pages. Why are these not visible in the Plasma style?
Also whenever I post in Advanced Mode nothing lines up correctly. For example the smiles are halfway in the message window.
I am using IE7.
