Whats up with the corporate BS?
Whats up with the corporate BS? Is this site now catoring towards the vendors now and saying stick it to the users? The vendors may provide the sponsor money....but remember without the users there is nothing.
Im just starting to notice the crackdown on the "non-vendor" links.
Some of the information is very good and some of the links can help save people ALOT of money. What happen to this site trying to help people?

They have always edited out non-sponsor links. The rules have not changed. You can mention any product you want, but just can't provide a direct link to a non-sponsor website. Seems fair to me....
before spouting off, we have ALWAYS removed non-sponsor links since day one. We have no problem with non-sponsors being mentioned, as long as the threads do not become a marketing/soliciting type thread.
We allow products to be discussed on a technical level. We do NOT allow non-sponsoring vendors or products to have any form of contact info or pricing posted. This includes email address, website, phone numbers, physical address, etc...
So, pipe down and spare us the drama.
