and it keeps telling me i'm trying to post on a thread I have already posted on within the last 5 minutes. I haven't posted on it so I'm not sure what is going on.

It's a database error that's been happening recently which keeps you from viewing the latest page. Replies from both of you are in those threads. To see them go to your "User CP" click on "Edit Options" and change "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" to "Show 40 Posts Per Page".
