These "X-rated" avatars might get members in trouble at work.
I really hope that some of the board members keep this in mind when creating their "x-rated" avatars cause every time I see one here at work my stomach drops.
Just food for thought.

I use my reasonable time at work to post threads and replies to better the usefulness of the board. You will find that many people frequent the boards at work and contribute a VERY large percentage of the information you guys rely on from work. We would simply like to avoid issues with the x-rated avatars that could pose problems in the "PC" environment.
If we followed the above advice and just "worked" then the board would not be what it is today. When I get home I have other family responsibilities which do not always include visiting the boards, I post and reply what I can at work AND GET PAID, VERY WELL TO DO IT.

Need another reason, CAUSE NINEBALL SAYS SO:
Signature Rules & Limitations
Any signature content that does not meet the following requirements is liable to being edited/removed without warning. You should not replace something that has been removed by a moderator/admin.
1. The maximum size limit for total signature images is 500 pixels wide by 150 pixels high. If you have more than one image, the combined dimensions cannot exceed 500 x 150.
2. Animated images are not permitted in signatures (with the exception of small smileys).
3. Flash (swf) files cannot be included in signatures.
4. Non-work-safe or inappropriate images are not permitted in signatures. It would be safe to assume that this also includes avatars that shows an animation of two people !@#$ing.
5. The limit for text in signatures is 8 single-spaced lines of standard-size text.
6. Advertising contact information for your non-sponsor business is not permitted.
7. Banners and logos for non-adveritsing vendors are not permitted.

OR,
Do as Nine Ball suggested and report the avatar.
The staff does a pretty good job policing the images found on this site considering how many thousands of members and how many millions of posts we deal with.

I will post from wherever or whenever I please. What part of the following do you people not understand:

Does !@#$ing really require a definition here?
The one I PM'd nine ball has already been changed by the user.
The staff does a terrific job, I never implied otherwise.

That **** barely achieves a PG-13 rating.
Pretty simple there......
Thats even more simple there ....
I am not referring to Cyphur's avatar I have no beef there period. BTW that is called "kissing".
If some of you would actually read my comment, I stated the following:
Animated (MEANS MOVING PICTURE)
It has been removed by the user (THIS MEANS GONE)
!@#$ing (AKA verb.PROCREATE. IT IS NOW OBVIOUS WE DO REQUIRE A DEFINITION HERE, please Google it if you still dont understand)

Once we can come to a unified agreement as to what the above terminology is, maybe some here can avoid the "defense" and finally agree that it violates the rules of the board. All I am asking for is those to be sensitive to others who may have IT cops looking over their shoulder. If members follow the rules then there are no issues period.

If you come across an avatar or signature that is offensive, report it to the staff - or, better yet - be a grown up and approach the member and let them know its a problem for you at work and politely ask them to change it.
Either way, relax, and let us do our jobs. You're making a mountain out of a molehill. Take some prozac.
If you have IT cops, they don't need to just see you visiting a site on your monitor, it'll be in their logs. If you're worried that visitng this site in general is not considered 'reasonable', then don't do it from work. Or ask your IT cops for clarification on where they draw their 'fine line'.
Oh, and Cyphur, I'll be needing an uncropped version of that PG-13 photo

Uh, I did what you and Nineball requested from the beginning after the second post and guess what? Problem solved, but you and others continue to challenge me and imply that this is acceptable and the rules dont really count anyway. I provided very specific details so that even a moron would be able to say "uh-huh the thread starter is most likely right".
I am just defending my stance when people claim I should "be working" or I should not frequent the board from work or I am am being overly sensitive. None of this is constructive to addressing the issue raised.
I dont see the mountain, the guilty folks should just follow the damn rules.
Very simple.
BTW, kissing lesbos are hot, and I love internet ****.

Good discussion none the less.
