Genealogy of LS1Tech The announcement of the buyout got me thinking about the future of the website. For the first time I realized how much time I spend on this site and how I actually feel a sense of community here. I'm not worried about where the site is going. The only thing I possibly worry about is high paying sponsors maybe getting a pass on bad service. But time will answer that question. Anyhow, there are several members here that were here in the beginning, I'm not one of them. So my quesiton, what's the story about the beginning of LS1Tech? From posts I've read, I gather it was spunoff from ls1, that's about it. Who did start it, how quickly did it become relatively large & established. What were some memorable milestones or road bumps along the way?

As for high paying sponsors getting a free pass on bad service, I can tell you first hand that the ad they pay for could actually cost them far more damage than the cost of the ad if they **** our members off. Figure a $200/month ad coupled with bad reviews and numerous complaints, that could cost them a fortune in reputation or credibility.
