Why can I not post a new thread to the "LS1 thru LS7 Performance" sub-forum?

. . .and why is html code inclusion disabled?

html is denied because it's completely unneccessary and unwanted in forum posts. In 99.9999% of cases, all the markup desired is provided via the "bbcode" tags. For that remaining fraction of a percent, there's a good chance the intention is less than honorable (ie. spammers, phishers, etc.).

You can't post in LS1 through LS7 Performance because it's a group of forums -- choose the appropriate forum inside that group, and you can post all you wish.
