Are both of you using the same network at work?

Probably hit the same proxy server Fortmyerspolice was using previously. When you opened LS1tech the proxy server logged you on with his credentials, because it had it in cache.

Best thing to do is uncheck "Remember Me" so your password and user name don't get stored on the proxy. This would cause you to have to enter your password all the time, but the only other work around would be to call your IT support. Ofcourse you will have to explain why LS1tech is important to your work

Maybe that is where he accessed LS1tech as well.

It was in different places, and I am the only one that can use my computer. So that is why I posted this as well.

It also happened again today for about 5 min.

If you use the same ISP and it is one that uses proxy servers (AOL etc) that is likely the reason.

black01_ws6, when you are signed on as fortmyerspolice, your ip address goes to filters.leeschools.net - sounds like some sort of proxy. fortmyerspolice, does that sound familiar at all? Any chance you could have signed on from another location?

logon information is stored in cookies so he would have had to sign on (and not sign out) of the machine you were using

Not necessarily. As mentioned if they are both going through a caching proxy server it could be resubmitting the cookie for the other user when they request the ls1tech domain.

Yep, I use a computer at school, which is the Lee County School Network, but it still doesnt make sense that he was able to logon to my account, I mean he must use like Embarq or Comcast(am I right Mike?). Wierd

Well I do get on from school as well, but from different schools in the district. So do we just have to make sure we don't save our screen name in, as this never happens from home.

Well it sounds like the school district is using a proxy server as its gateway to the internet, and that is what is screwing up the usernames (it's caching the pages and the cookies, apparently). It's not uncommon for a school district to have one connection to the 'net. Sounds like you guys need to click the "log off" button when you're done browsing 'tech.

Just hope they don't do that with online banking.

Almost all online banking or other sensitive logins like that have a very brief inactivity timeout to prevent things like this. Here it is just a permanent cookie so you never have to login/logout on the same computer.
