I connect to other sites hosted on the west coast all the time and they aren't this slow.

Yep, back on the eastern side of the US and it is PAINFULLY slow.

page jumps w/pics seem slow to me, kinda depends on what time of day it is it seems

I figure I would post this now for reference. It is so slow right now for me. Dont know if its the time of day it is.....Sunday at 10:20 pm. Not sure just figure I would log this.

Well, I just got back from pittsburgh....while I was there, I used 2 new computers with high speed and tech was slow as hell. So that rules out that its not my computers.

From what I understand Sunday night is the busiest time with the most people on the site, so that would make sense that it is slower than usual then.

I have to agree that it's the ads on the side that slow me down, even the pics load fast. How about five ads per open page. Then when you open another page, refresh, or click open a page, there would be a different set of five. That way all advertisements are posted, but not loaded all at the same time. Swat
