i dont want to make any waves here and i dont know if this was a first offense or if RPM-24 has been given any warnings in the past but holy cow it seems like he got hit by the ban stick pretty quick in this case. If RPM-24 is as genuinely concerned about being compliant and not breaking the rules as he seems, than wouldn't a simple warning via PM been better?
A warning could have been given via PM and it could have been established whether or not RPM-24 wanted to become a sponsor or not, rates could have been discussed etc etc

I realize ls1tech.com to be a cash cow and has to be regulated so there aren't solicitors. But Frank Dukes and I think the guy should be given another chance.

The fact is, he got caught and now hes restricted, if it wasnt for ls1tech sponsors there wouldnt be a ls1tech.

Well, the fact is all of my PM's on this board were from other members asking me advice. I told them things I knew. I did not try to get them in my shop.
Like I said before. Let me know what I need to bring to the table to become a sponsor here. I would love to promote my buisness here, even though it might TICK other sponsors off.

Have you ever seen the usage statistics for a site that pulls this kind of traffic and bandwidth utilization before? Ever priced what it costs for high end enterprise servers in co-located facilities, with the pipe to fit all that traffic? If not, don't post again in this thread. If you have, then you'd not have made the above comment. You are making yourself look like a little stupid.
As for other folks - there have been clear cut policies in place for many months now outlining non-sponsor rules and the repercussions of violating said policies. As a member/sponsor of this forum, it is YOUR responsibility to read these policies, NOT OURS. As such, any warning at all is just a nicety, especially with over 100k members.
The admin's have spoken - if the OP wants to continue this discussion, he needs to take it to email with the them.
