This might be a good idea Anyone else think adding some sort of chatroom (live) to LS1tech would be a good idea. I check my user cp pretty frequently and respond immediately but I think a chat room would be sort of cool.

Great idea! when im bored this late at night or during the day for that matter i click new posts and reply to whatever i feel i want to, just for the heck of it. A chatroom would add a little spice to the forum i think

great idea, say i had a quick question, i could just ask here and not have to go through a long search or start a new thread and wait for a response, plus it would give the guys sumtin to do when we get bored
I don't think it's a great idea. This forum provides a ton of really good information. If you start a chat room, a percentage of that information, that would otherwise be documented, now goes out the window. This forum is all about being the #1 Source for all LSX based vehicles.
Plus you also have to take into consideration that there are complete n00bs on this site. If you get 50 people in a chat, you may or may not have a moderator in there. Conversations will result to that of high school "instant messenger"..... Which I for one, do not want to be a part of, or want to moderate. It could just lead to more and more headaches that the site cannot handle.
In theory it sounds fun, but we ALL know that this site has way too many immature users who couldn't "handle it" or will "abuse" it, for lack of better terms. I vote no.
