I've been on this board for years, and I love it here. But, I'm having issues getting my signature and sig pic right. I have some great ideas, but, I'm not the most computer savy guy. Can't spell for **** either. Can someone give me 5 minutes of their time, and help me with this..? Please..

Charlie, you need to bring it to 3 lines of text and a pict as per posting rules.
Picture looks good

How about this layout?

  • 00' C5 --- Iron Block 408 + Direct Port Laughing Gas.
  • 02' WS6 --- Lingenfelter 347 + Turbo + a little Meth.
  • 06' Hummer H2 --- Stock
  • 06' GSXR 1000 --- Stock
The table layout is a bit of an exception. Although it technically has more than 3 lines, the lines don't extend below the image and the image is undersized anyway.

Let me know and I'll set it for you.

If that is allowed, I can just see the PM's saying..."Why is he allowed to have more than 3 lines, but I got an infraction for mine..."

I was unaware that where the text is displayed in ones signature or the size of their picture, determines if it is within the rules or not. I think I owe a few members an apology.

Not really.... we just let it slide. Well, at least CRAGER and I do.
I usually don't bother people if they are only one line over anyway.

The rules as they stand are intended to keep out the huge sigs that take a lot to scroll past (like on some sites).

Also, the table code is a hold-over from previous version of the site. I don't think its actually displayed as an option anywhere anymore. I just happen to still know how it is applied. Luckily the system still recognizes it...for now.

Also that code does not work for everybody. Tiff's (Zangel) screen size is I think 1024 x 768 and some guy with text to the right ended up stacking one word per line and it looked like to her 20+ text lines so she gave him an infraction. So text to the right I don't do anymore.

Best tips is to have an Fquick.com page and list your vehicles with mods there. And/or you can list a few things inside your sig pic, then have 3 text lines.
You just need to leave out comments like he has:
"Direct Port man. It's the only way to spray....

but I knnow you can 't catch me.... lol"

...those just eat up room/waste space.

Peace,
Craig.
