Has my delete thread/post been disabled?

Has my delete thread/post been disabled? Someone posted in an old thread of mine and I tried to delete the thread, but the option is not there anymore. Just wondering if this option was turned off for everyone or if mine was set to disabled?
Just like in the past when this was a (frequent) issue -- you are not a moderator who gets to decide what content stays on the site. You further are NOT to be deleting your threads just because you are done with them. That's why you lost those privileges, and it is also why you will never get them back.

It was an old for sale thread that was bumped back up to the top. I was going to delete it because I had a current one. That's all. I don't know why or who disabled that feature on my account, but I didn't do anything wrong. I was simply trying to "cancel" a thread that didn't need to be cycling the forum/section.
