Lease is coming to an end, I would like to sell rather than trade in.
Info. 2007 Silverado Z71, New body style. Extended Cab, Standard bed (6 1/2 ft), running boards, ez-lift tailgate, chrome package, tow package, alloy wheels, 4.8 liter V-8, Auto, G80 locking diff, two-tone cloth interior (ebony/casmire), remote start. Paint is Desert Brown Metallic, which is a beautiful color. Has just under 65,000 miles, which leaves it with a little over 35,000 miles and around 2 years on the powertrain warranty.
Truck has never given me issues, not even a flat! Has a full size Goodyear spare. One tire has a small chunk missing as the wife got too close to some broken concrete. Tire has been rebalanced and tire guys say it is fine. Been like this over 10,000 miles. Has a bed liner that could use touched up. Interior is in excellent conditon.
We did the low mileage lease because we planned on buying it at the end. Now, we don't really need the truck due where I work. We racked up most of the miles in the first two years (been to Florida, then to Texas, then to Iowa, and now in Georgia). Its been excellent for pulling smaller trailers or loading the bed down and getting it to the next location.
It does have a few cosmetic issues. Beside then normal rock chips and scratches, it has a dent above the passenger side tail-light. It also caused a wave above the passenger side tire on the bedside. Some people dont notice it until you point it out. It also cracked the tail-light, but I have sealed it. Been like this since the winter of 07 with no issues. Have been quoted 300-1500 to repair. It hasnt bothered me, so I havent repaired it.
For the purchase, I would like the new owner to take over the lease. Lease is done in October. The buy out price is 17677.80. There are two monthly payments left at 387.65. So the total would be 18453.10. If this hasn't sold by the end of the month, I pay another month, and of course, the price goes down that amount.
