2002 Stone white Neon SE with complete SRT-4 swap. The donor car was 2004 SRT-4 that a tree fell on. It was purchased and everything swapped over. Interior, drivetrain, all wiring, door panels, everything. The donor Neon was a low mile mint condition original 5-speed stripper car. Everything looks and performs like factory. Ice cold air, heat will blow you out, factory retrofit cruise, 6 disk indash, kicker speakers, keyless, mint interior. Car has 107k miles.

Mods:

Diablosport Preadator with custom tune
3" Catless downpipe
AEM Wideband
Injen Intake
AGP solid tranny mount
Solid Upper mount
Stock SRT midpipe dumped over the rear axle (stealth)
Dynomax black muffler that slips on in stock location (more stealth)



Engine is in great shape uses 1/2 a quart between changes which for a SRT is very good. Always used Mobil 1 synthetic. Intercooler is painted black. Suspension is stock neon with SRT springs for a slight drop. Has rear disk brakes from a r/t and a rear sway bar. New tires with 1000 miles on them. Has snowflake wheels which are super light. Body is in excellent shape also, couple of door dings but paint shines like new and is in better shape than most any SRT-4 on the road, even though it's a 2002.


Ran the car a few times in the 1/4 and ran a 8.0/12.6@107 on pump gas. Throw some race in there, add some timing and lean it out and you are close to 11's. Plus you can drive coast to coast in a plush car getting 32mpg on the hwy. Title is clear and clean and in my name ready to go. VIN available to anyone interested via pm. Also have the VIN plate to the donor SRT-4 and all the info on it including a carfax. Have a SRT-4 that is a sleeper, 400lbs lighter, and has cruise which SRT's never had.

Needs: One rear strut is leaking, One front strut bearing squeaks.

I had a bright yellow '03 SRt-4...what a fun little car it was

 

meh...for the price id rather just have an srt...

I'm a little leery of the leaky/sqeaking struts, anyone have a guess at what new shock absorbers would cost to fix that issue?

Bump for a local car. Neat little sleeper.

 

Struts are under $150 for a brand new set of 4 on eBay better than factory. Simple fix, even in current state I drive it 30 miles a day to work. So it's a non issue for most. If you have a trade offer send the info to me via pm. With any trade I'd need considerate cash since it's the reason for selling.
