WTT: My 10 sec Street/Strip Car for a Stock or slightly modified Z28,SS or GT0 I am looking to trade my LS Swapped 1997 6-speed T-top Z28 for a Stock or Slightly Modded (bolt on's) 99-02 6 Speed Z28, SS or maybe a GT0 Straight up if the right car comes along if not we can work out some kind of cash exchange. The body & odometer have 95k on it but if I remember correctly the only thing left orginal on the car besides the body are the seats, carpet, brake lines (Main hard line other lines switched to stainless braided) & gas tank everything else has either been changed to LS style or replaced. Call me Crazy but I am looking for something that I can just drive and possible turn into a DD if needed. My car is a street bruiser/Weekend driver some would drive it everyday Its great and I am sure I'm gonna miss the power but its too rowdy to fire up at 4am or 10pm to take to work and wasent built to sit in the garage Details Paint = 7 out of 10 (Hood, Mirrors and front bumper just painted last year minor scratches throughout rest) Interior = 6 out of 10 (Leather driver seat worn with a small tear & Carpet by pedals worn) Engine: LME 403 11.8 compression All forged internals built for minimum of 200 shot, AI CNC Ported L92's, Pat G Cam, Mamo Ported Fast 102 + All bolt on's & Supporting mods 495/505 to the wheels on mustang dyno. Combo has approx 3,643 miles as of 5/2/12 no leaks, noises or issues. Trans: FLT Viper Spec T56, Mcleod RXT Clutch w/billet steel flywheel, Quick Time bellhousing, stock hydraulics and Pro 5.0 Shifter. Trans was installed same time as motor. Drivetrain: S60 w/Tru track 4.10 gears Narrowed 2.25'' each side (Will include a 4.56 gear set and extra posi unit) Strange Driveshaft and a Upgraded rear cover. Suspension: QA1 front and rear 12 way single adj shocks, Stock front & rear LT1 Springs, UMI K-member, UMI Adj Front lower control arms, UMI box Subframe connectors, UMI Adj Rear lower control arms, UMI bolt on relocation brackets, UMI Adj Panhard bar & upper relocation panhard, UMI Adj TQ Arm, Midwest chassis DSL, UMI Drag bar Exhaust: Kooks 1-7/8th LT's, Custom ORY with flowmaster merge 3''in 4''out, Mufflex 4'' Catback with Flowmaster 30 series with hideaway tip. Thats all I can remember right now but I will update as I remember. There is nothing major wrong with the car, It will fire up and can be driven anywhere you want. Last year I went on (2) 300 mile round trips down state IL with it and managed 20+ mpg cruising @ 80mph. I currently drive it about once a week due to the loud exhaust (for my neighborhood) and my work schedule I cant drive it more. It has not been to the track with the new pat G cam but last season ran 10.8s @ 125-128 w 1.5 60'. It has the usual gear whine from the rear end, does not burn or leak any oil ANYWHERE. The windows are a little slow to roll up from age and it has NO AC! or rear seat belts! I don't have to trade or sell it Its just that time to find something less aggressive that can be used by me or my girl. This is not a part out thread! I have the title in hand and ready to work out a deal but I will keep it before I strip the car down back to stock. Here is a chance for someone to get a great steal. how about a 2002 Z28 A4, pewter, 49,xxx miles. Lid, longtubes and x-pipe dumped on 17x9.5/11 out back chrome zr1's everything else is stock. |
