i am just completely curious as to why your trying to trade for a stock fbody? also why a 383 stroked LS1 is only making 405whp. Even through stock heads it should make more than that and gobs more torque if its a 383. Im not trying to downplay the car its very beautiful, but just trying to clear some things up in my mind before I pick it up and have to drop $1800 to rebuild the trans.
I'm not trying to trade for a stock fbody... IDK where you got that idea. Like it says in my original post, I'm looking for a '01-'04 Z06. The car is definitely a 383, I can assure you it is well built and I have all of the receipts for the motor build. I can't give any other reasoning as to why the car makes the power it does. I have two friends with 383 LS1 fbodies, one with the same setup as mine (ported 243's), and one with Patriots, and both made barely over 400 N/A. Then again, both of theirs are on the hit and make over 600 when sprayed lol. And I talked to the best transmission guy here in Douglasville and he said it would be $400 plus parts to rebuild the trans, and I knocked a thousand off the price for it.

Getting a lot of questions about bottom dollar price. 10K is FIRM! I absolutely WILL NOT come off 10K. I think it's a great price, I want this thing gone, but I'm not going to give it away.
