i can't afford to buy the car, but it would probably help sell the car if you had an idle video. car looks awsome, i just wanted to hear it. i bet it sounds mean as hell.

Since you say it was leaking boost on the dyno you don't know how much boost you made those numbers on?? Are you fixing the boost leak??

 

Well I guess I misrepresented that statement. I couldn't really figure out how to word it When I was typing this and I forgot to come back and fix that. It's not a leak, but a boost drop. I guess the intercooler and some of the charge pipes may be a little too small for the bigger turbo.

"huge pressure drop just tested pressure drop from front to back across intercooler turbo is at 25psi manifold is at 12 psi"

That's the email that I got from Larry, my builder, when he ran into the problem.

Doesn't hurt anything, you would just need a bigger intercooler and possiblay bigger charge pipes to make more boost and power.

As far as fixing that myself...No, not right now. That's why I'm trying to sell it because I've put so much money into it so far. If it doesn't sell by spring, no big deal to me and I'll probibly Get the bigger intercooler and put a two step in it and a TH-400. I just ran out of funds for it right now and if someone wanted it, I was going to part with it. I doubt it will sell anytime soon with the economy the way it is since there aren't too many people dropping $20,000 on a toy right now

Ok that's cool, I know what you mean about nobody buying right now. I'm trying to sell the TBSS and that's like pulling teeth. If I get it sold I'll be sending you a message.

 

Cool man, sorry for the mislead. After going back and reading that, I was way off. When I first got an email from him he said it was loosing boost somewhere and wasn't sure so Iassumed it blew one of the rubber elbows or a clamp came loose. After he explained it, I forgot to correct my ad, but I corrected it now.
