2000 SS Pewter Hdtp. 5300 miles/ 9.80 'street car' MINT
#1
![Default](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
Up for sale is my MINT 2000 SS A4 with only 5300 miles on the clock. Yes, only 5300 miles.
I am the 2nd owner and have driven this car only 2500 miles since I have owned it. 1000 miles since the conversion to a Procharged LS2 403. The car was bone stock when I purchased it and everything has been done correctly on the car, no hack work anywhere. I am as **** as they come.
I bought the car with one intent and that was to disassemble the entire drivetrain out of the car and make it a very quick street driver with ultimate reliability in mind. I used the best of the best parts when building the entire car. It was all done at once. The car has never seen any rain and is always kept in a climate controlled garage. The underside is as clean as the inside or outside.
Here is what the car has:

This isn't my first Hot Rod build, it looks awesome and is clean as a pin everywhere. If I needed something fabbed, I fabbed it to make it right. If it needed something welded, I took the time and tig welded it right so it is clean and stock appearing. It is as factory stock as it can be for what has been done. I did not cut anything including wiring, body, frame, etc. Everything was painted with Epoxy prime and Single Stage urethane that got bolted to the car if it was not stainless or powdercoated in its original form.
The car has performed flawless since being completed late last fall (08) for as little as I drive it. I just don't have the time to enjoy it.
The car currently makes 14# of boost and runs 9.80's at 3810# (heavier than stock). It is a very mild and a extremely reliable combo that is not annoying to drive. The car retains the complete AC system which blows ice cold. At the strip the car sticks everytime cutting consistent 1.44 -1.46 60 fts and is very easy to drive, just put it in drive and floor it.
I have drag raced the car about a dozen or so times with the NEW Procharged LS2 and put about 980 street miles on it (still saved on the trip odometer - see below). It runs flawlessly!
Reason for selling is that I have my eyes set on something else. I love the car and am very happy with how it turned out.
All factory pieces that were removed have been kept and go with the car. I have the orginal rear end, driveshaft, 4L60E/converter, suspension items, etc.
28,500 OBO. This is less than half of what I have in parts alone guys, not including vehicles purchase! I have ALL the receipts.
No tire kickers please! Yes, it is alot of money, and that is because it costs alot of money to build a single digit car that can be driven regularly, if not daily, on the street. If you want a gutted, loud, and annoying to drive 9 sec strip car, this one is not for you.
This car is 'true' driver that will pass Emissions with the tune in it as we are I/M 240 here in St. Louis. You can drive it to the track and run in the 9.80's all night long on 93 octane 'pump gas'. The car is stealthy and somewhat of a sleeper, especially with the stock SS wheels on it.
I am sure I have forgotten something about the car, feel free to PM me. Serious only need call, no joy rides. Not desperate for sale.

Yep, that was mine. I had decided to keep it through the summer and enjoy it. I put 400 'street' miles on it this summer, got it running consistently in the 9's at the dragstrip and took it to the LSX Shootout in Memphis and had some fun with it like your supposed to.
Just looking to move on again now.

Thanks for the compliments.
Price adjusted, just knocked 4000.00 off. Happy Thanksgiving! Need to sell.
I will entertain offers, but no low ballers. I am pretty much out of room on the money. Guys this is a good deal, I hate to get rid of it. Get it while you can.....No disappointments!

Hate to part out a MINT turn key 9.80 street car that is easy to drive and not annoying.
Not really sure, was never into the dyno racing. Only used it for driveability tuning and a few WOT runs to get things close. It was finished tune at the track. Dyno numbers are 9.80's @ 139mph weighing 3810#. Should be 800RWHP. You have to remember this is an auto with a stall and has a power robbing 9" Ford, she definitely is not a dyno queen, but it makes plenty of steam.
